This Sand sculpture show is in conjunction with Celebrate Seaport! 2001

The Masters Class show features six International Master Sand Sculptors:
Peter Busch - Copenhagen, Denmark
Paul Dawkins - Toronto, Canada
Dale Murdock - Paris, France
Benjamin Probanza - Acapulco, Mexico
Sergio Ramirez - Barcelona, Spain
Rich Varano* - Orlando, USA
They each work  individually to create six massive sculptures 14 feet tall, from 70 tons of sand, in 6.5 days !

Other Celebrate Seaport! activities include:
AUGUST 11 & 12
  •  Kayaking, hydro bikes and sailing in Boston Harbor
  • Kite flying.
  • A Farmers Market
  •  Vendors of various sorts for food, crafts, and merchandise
  • Two stages with live bands
  • A beer garden
  • A sand play area
  • An amateur sand sculpture competition
Sand sculpture awards presentation: Sunday afternoon August 12, 2001.

Come to the "Beach" in Boston, and have a great time. There is "something for everyone".

    It's good clean fun ...
                     ... for the entire family!

 

* As  director of the sand festival aspect of Celebrate Seaport, Rich Varano is not in contention for awards in the competition.
