Sand sculptures can be created indoors as well as outside. It's not just for the beach anymore!
Tabletop creations from a bucket or two to truly colossal installations utilizing thousands of tons of sand. We do it all, big or small!
Sand Props, or "faux sand sculptures" look like the real thing, but are lightweight and can easily be moved & reused over and over.
What we specialize in -and are primarily known for, is producing/directing large-scale sand shows as gated commercial events. Regardless if they are ticketed (paid admission) or free (typically benefactor sponsored) exhibition events. These shows are typically on display for months or years at a time, & generally have a theme with numerous different sand sculptures that apply to it. Some are annual or even seasonal events. Besides the sculptures themselves usually being displayed along a directional walkway, (with guided tours available, administered by a sand docent) there are a variety of other components that may be included to "plus-up" the event. These range from, but are not limited to:
  • Landscaping, water features, and seating areas.
  • Photo-op zones for visitors to pose with interactive sculpture scenes.
  • Other types of art to be displayed, as in an art show or gallery setting,
  • Dynamic lighting schemes, with a soundtrack, played over a PA system.
  • Food and beverage areas.
  • Stages or a bandstand.
  • Merchandising opportunities from gift shops to vendor stalls & booths.
  • D.I.Y. sand play areas.
  • Scheduled demonstrations or private lessons areas.

Sand sculptures captivate and amaze. There is an alluring draw to sand sculptures regardless if one is creating them, or simply viewing ones that were made by others... ...This aspect is known as the "WoW!" factor.
We provide "WoW!" factor as passive entertainment for anyone viewing our works or for those folks wishing to draw a crowd for various entertainment or marketing reasons. -OR as a hands-on activity to those wanting to learn and enjoy participating in the joy of the art & craft of creating sand sculptures. We call these two different modes "Sand Events" & we designate them as active (hands-on) or passive (simply to be seen &, not touched) The Sultans Of Sand offer services to provide either or both, anywhere in the world. Indoors or outside, on a beach or not, It's entirely up to you, the client!
