JESOLO SAND SANTA CLAUSE CHRISTMAS SCENE 2021 TECH DATA PAGES 2.) OVERVIEW:
As of November 05, 2021, Conegliano has CANCELLED. But since we were committed to the time for so long already before now, my client is graciously going to provide for us by doing another (second) different Christmass sand sculpture IN JESOLO which you guys will create.Same dates, same pay, but DIFFERENT design. They don't want two religious nativity designs in Jesolo at the same time. Yours will be a traditional NON-religious Christmas theme with Santa Clause, etc. & NO Jesus.
You, three artists, are still hired for the same 12 work dates (But now arrive on 17 November with a free day on the front end on 18,) You will still work 12 days: 19-30 November. And you all will get the same pay we already negotiated. But you will now stay in JESOLO at "The Adlon Hotel" along with all the other first-unit crew that is doing the typical Sand Nativity in Jesolo. You will also eat in the new restaurant, called "Rossi" (very nice) where the others will eat. You will work in Piazza Marconi as the second unit. The first unit crew is not working at Piazza Marconi, they are all working at Piazza Trieste.But, an important thing is: You will no longer make a Nativity scene. Instead, you will make a NON-religious Christmas display. Plan to include traditional Christmas elements that are NOT religious. Like; but not limited to: A big, decorated Christmas tree with presents, maybe a little toy choo-choo train underneath it, with also with lots of presents, Santa Clause and an elf helper and a big bag of toys in his sleigh with the reindeer. That sort of thing. Of course, you may also propose something more, like Santa's workshop, an interior scene of the home where the decorated tree is with a fireplace, milk & cookies left out for Sants, etc. It needs to be a full scene of high quality like always, of course, but you can start thinking about ideas you like that fit this theme. So please re-group and think of designs you want to make with this new theme direction. But now it will not be limited to just one big poundup of 10 meters wide & only 5 meters deep, & only seen from the front. It can be more customized to multiple blocks how you prefer them to be, and it is not just a one-sided relief. It can be multiple poundups and more 3-D sculpture seen more in the round.
I am meeting with the client and other principal people at 5 pm today in the piazza to sort out what we can do. I will provide the limits to the sizes and layout options as soon after we here in Jesolo are able to figure out what we can do in Piazza Marconi, and how big the tent can be for you guys, etc. We are working as fast as we can to get these answers, but because I just found out today, I want you to also know this right away, to be able to start thinking about new sculpture designs for a different theme. When I have the specs for the possible dimensions, I will give them to you and then Pavel can present a new sketch for the new sculpture theme that you guys will make.
