General Calendar: 01 November: Varano arrives in Jesolo -Liberty scooter is delivered. 02 November: Poundup begins.14 November: The poundup is complete. cases of drinking water (Or a suitable water dispenser) is delivered. All site supplies for artists are delivered to the tent. . All artists arrive in Jesolo. 14 Bicycles are made available to them15 November: Breakfast opens at 07:30. Sculpting begins at 09:00 Lunch 13:00-14:00. Sculpting for the day ends at 18:00. (You can start earlier or work later if you wish.28 November: All sculpting is complete by 18:00 on 28 November.29 November: Free day, or depart Jesolo as you prefer.30 December: Depart Jesolo if you stayed for the free day unless you have made other arrangements in advance, to stay longer at your expense.
General Daily Work Schedule:07:30 Breakfast in the hotel opens.07:00 to 09:00 sand is removed or re-arranged in the tent as needed. 09:00 Carving starts for the day -if you want to start earlier, that is OK, but the laborers and machines may be working before 09:00.13:00 -14:00 Lunch break18:00 Carving stops for the day. If you want to work earlier or later than the prescribed schedule, that is OK, but the laborers and machines may be working before 09:00 after 18:00.19:30 is the general time for the evening meal at a location to be determined, but you can come and go for that as you prefer, earlier or later. Other:* You are entitled to a 15-minute break in both the morning and afternoon shifts.* The crew will stay and have breakfast in a nearby hotel a short bicycle ride to and from the work site. Thank you for being punctual for all work times, and Always wearing your Sultans Of Sand Uniform gear as outerwear because we are recording the daily progress on video cameras. You are required to wear your Sultans of Sand gear and safety shoes while inside the tent. Let me know before 15 October if you need more Sultans ID gear. * Please limit the sand impact on the hotel & restaurant.* Confirm your hotel pickup times for return to airport departure from the Hotel with Rich, after you arrive in Jesolo.* You won't have the opportunity to work on the free day unless it is simple tweaking, because the decorators will be very busy in the tent.
