Jesolo SDS 2022 TECH DATA PAGE 3. UPDATES
Here is where any updates will be posted, chronologically.
May 10, 2022 Update: At 07:00 on the 15th of May, (the day you are to start you sculpture work in Jesolo) the helpers will begin taking off some forms so you won't have to expend so much time & energy doing that and dealing with the parapet guard rails first thing when you begin. You can thus just go straight to blocking out your design from the hard-packed sand.
The poundup crew will finish compacting the poundups tomorrow, and will then remove most of the nails from all the forms you want removed to begin with on the first day of your work. Doing that nail removal tomorrow, will save them time on the 15th to take out the few remaining nails, and remove what forms you want to be removed before you begin work- if any. If you prefer to do it all yourself, that's ok of course.
So, would you like them to remove any forms in advance of your arrival?
If so, please tell me exactly which ones, today. (May 10) or before noon tomorrow (May 11)David and Suz have already indicated to me which forms they want to be removed in advance, But I don't know about which/how many -if any, of the forms for "ZEUS" or "HADES".you other guys might want to be removed. (please advise)
ALSO: So you are aware & won't be late, there will be a mandatory safety meeting at the worksite at 09:05 on the 15th, hosted by the safety inspector Daniello and the boss of the construction yard, Carlo, that everyone must attend.
We are staying in Villa Sorriso again, precisely 270 meters & just a few minutes walking distance away to the worksite location at Piazza Brescia. (or less if you ride a bike -ask for one at reception) Kuba, Pedro and Slava can follow the others from the hotel to find their way the first day, or use this little map... (click to enlarge it)

Be prepared for anything. And make sure you are current with any Covid protocols Silvia or her team has provided.
& this, -Just for the chess players in the group: I fully intended to bring at least one chess set as I always do, but in my dotage, my memory is not what it once was, and I forgot to bring one.
