ARTIST'S STATEMENTS:

   Please provide a statement about your work from your own perspective (not something like "the director told me what to sculpt, so I sculpted it.")
Obviously, the general theme of the show being PEACE and the war in Ukraine is something everyone is aware of, and also in relatively close proximity to where our show is located, is not a coincidence. 
   The producer's team chose this theme and also picked the specific subjects we are curating for this edition of the show. So if the ideas contained in your statements reflect the theme, that would be welcome, but it is not mandatory.
  If you are working with another artist, you can write a joint statement, or each of you may write an individual statement. Your choice. 

Act 6 on PU 4:  The Last Supper by David & Susanne.
" We have chosen to use the iconic version of the Last Supper from Leonardo Da Vinci. His simple but masterful linear composition draws all lines to Jesus’s head. Separated and balanced in groups of 3s the diverse expressions and gestures of the disciples support that composition. The ritual reminds us to connect body and soul, find inner peace."
